I’m going to try my best to make the best waffle-themed dishes for you.
I’m trying to avoid waffles.
You know, that thing where they just put a big waffle on top of the waffles, and you eat it?
If I had a wafer instead, I’d probably be okay with that, too.
Instead, I’ve gone with a whole house style waffle.
I’ve had people tell me that their waffles are way better with a wafel on top, but that doesn’t really make sense.
So, here’s how I make a waffled-style waffle at home with my best friend.
Start with a few waffles 1.1 This is my waffle recipe for the whole house, which means I’ve created a wafe-style recipe for every house.
I’ve been eating it for months now.
1.2 Start by making the wafels.
I like to make a lot of waffles first.
1 cup of flour 1 cup water 2 cups warm water (not hot) 1 egg, beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature (I use butter from my oven) 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/6 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/16 teaspoon baking spray 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted 1/12 teaspoon cinnamon, ground 1.3 In a large bowl, combine flour, water, eggs, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon.
Mix on medium speed for about 1 minute.
Stir in butter.
Beat in egg.
Divide batter evenly between prepared baking sheets.
Set aside to cool completely.
In a medium saucepan, heat butter over medium heat until it melts.
Add the flour mixture and continue to stir until combined.
Do not overheat.
Add the warm water, egg, and salt.
Make sure you have a large amount of water.
This will make it easier to pour the batter into the waffle batter.
Pour the batter on the prepared baking sheet.
It’s important that you spread the batter evenly.
It should be like a cake.
Place a large waffle pan in the middle of your waffle making area.
The center of the pan will be where you’ll put the wafer.
Pour batter onto the waffles and place in the oven.
Cook for about 30 to 35 minutes or until the wafe is done and the batter is just beginning to brown.
Let cool completely before cutting. 8. Enjoy!
