There are some real-life consequences to not staying safe, and this is the best way to avoid being a victim of the pandemic.
Here are 10 tips to help keep you and your loved ones safe.1.
Don’t take your family to the movies and theatre.
If you’re at home, go to a theatre that is away from your house.
There is a good chance you’ll be infected and the virus can spread.

Stay in hotels, not the cars.
3.
Keep your personal belongings out of reach.
Make sure you are wearing a mask.
If a hotel does have an isolation room, don’t use it. 4.
Wear gloves.
5.
Keep the door open and turn on the air conditioning.
6.
Wear a mask when you walk to and from the theatre or cinema.
If your car has an air conditioning unit, you can turn it on at the door.
7.
Don ‘t go to bed until the virus has passed.
If there’s a chance the virus could be passed on to you, you might want to stay in bed for at least 24 hours before you leave.
8.
If someone has symptoms, contact a doctor right away.
9.
Donate blood to the Australian Red Cross.
The organisation’s online donation portal has some helpful guidelines.
If the virus is spreading in Australia, you’ll need to get it tested, too.
10.
If it’s too late, don ‘t leave home, even if you have to walk to the cinema or theatre.
