Vice News, New York (CNN) — Pizza chain Domino’s Pizza says it did not receive any tip about the alleged incident involving President Donald Trump, which took place at a New York City pizza shop in October 2016.
In a statement, Domino the Pizza Company said the alleged incidents occurred in October, after the holiday shopping season, and Domino does not report such incidents to police.
“As far as we know, no tip was ever reported to the NYPD, nor is it our policy to do so,” the company said.
“Domino’s believes that if the tip came from a member of the public or an outside source, it would have been treated appropriately and acted upon quickly and appropriately.”
