Donald Trump has spent decades building his own personal estate, but he has never had the luxury of owning a single house.
The New York real estate magnate has owned and operated a sprawling complex of five Trump International Hotel properties, and his most notable building, the Trump International Golf Links, was purchased by the Trump Organization for $6.9 billion in 2015.
In the Trump era, the most recent and best-known of his properties is the Trump Tower in Manhattan, which is the tallest skyscraper in the world.
But Trump also owns a collection of golf courses in New Jersey, which he is developing with his partners, the golfers’ association.
And in a sign of how little the real estate tycoon has done with his own property, he is the only owner of a golf course in his home state of Florida, which has only one course.
He also owns two golf courses and a nearby lake.
But in all of Trump’s properties, there is a very clear distinction between the Trump brand and the Trump name, which refers to the president’s business empire.
When Trump has owned a property in the Trump organization, the president has taken the lead in promoting the property and its properties, even when the property has a commercial or sporting use.
When the Trump estate did not have a commercial use, the estate’s director of marketing and communications, Michael Cohen, wrote in a letter to the estate in December that the president would be “very happy to do something to make it better.”
When Trump does have a business venture, he usually has a hand in developing it.
In January, for example, he hired his friend and confidant Steve Bannon, the chief strategist for the President Donald Trump campaign, to help develop the Trump golf course.
In a December 2015 letter to Ivanka Trump, Cohen wrote that Trump’s decision to use the Trump Hotel in Miami to open the Trump Plaza was a major turning point for the Trump business empire, and “will give him an additional opportunity to help revitalize and expand the brand.”
In another letter to Melania Trump, a Trump executive, Cohen added, “We are very proud of the fact that Melania and I are the only ones who are able to spend a day with the President every weekend.
She loves his company and has been so impressed with his personal life and business.”
Trump is currently in a feud with the former White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, who has been accused of plagiarizing a draft of a speech from the Trump Foundation.
The feud is the latest chapter in a long history of Trump feuds, and Trump’s feud with Scaramuccio is particularly ugly because it is based on a lie.
In June, Scaramucio told CNN that Trump never used his foundation’s funds to pay for a private jet.
Trump said at the time that Scaramuci was lying because the jet was purchased for $3 million, which was then used to fly Scaramaciu to Mar-a-Lago, where he spent more than four hours with Trump.
The Trump Organization has denied that Scarabucci is lying and said that Scaramiu was paid $200,000 for an interview at the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, in February.
But the Trump campaign is not buying it.
“There is no doubt in my mind that there is no way he ever used any of the money that he received to pay anyone for his personal jet,” campaign spokesman Hope Hicks told reporters in May.
“It was a private, and it was paid for by the Foundation.”
