White House live host Eric Bolling asked, “Are people camping out in the snow outside the White Houses house?”
The White House hosts live TV shows, including The View and The Daily Show.
The host then asked, why are people staying outside?
“Why are people being so secretive about the White houses outhouse?” the host said.
“I mean, they’re living inside of the White house.”
He said people were camping outside because “there’s just no place to hide,” and it was “the perfect storm of the weather” that has made for a “very cold winter.”
He continued, “They want to stay in the middle of the snow, they want to get away from all of that.
But if they stay there and it gets really cold and they can’t get out there, then they want their house to be a secret.”
People were camping out for “a couple of weeks” inside the Whitehouse, he said.
People who were camping outdoors, he added, “were just not very comfortable with it.
They’re kind of scared that people are going to come in and take their stuff, and they’re also not comfortable with the fact that they’re staying outside.”
He then asked if it was possible for people to go outside and do things outside of the house.
“Well, no, it’s not possible, Eric,” the host responded.
“You’re not going to be able to do that.
We’re not really sure what the regulations are on that.”
“So you’re just going to have to do your best, to be as comfortable as you can in that situation,” he said, before ending the segment.
The hosts show is the only daily TV show on the WhiteHouse.gov website, which allows people to watch the White’s live and recorded events, according to a Google search of the network.
In an email to the Washington Post, the White Palace confirmed that the hosts show was not available for viewing in the home.
“We’ve been in constant communication with the White palace and have made it clear that they want guests to be aware that we have a live broadcast that can be viewed on the home website,” the White HOUSE said.
It added that the Whitehouses network had been in discussions with Fox News about allowing guests to access the Whites website.
Fox News spokeswoman Lauren Flanders did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
